While there are thousands of article directories to submit your work to, Buzzle and Ezine Articles are the two best article directories on the internet. Using these directories have proven to be very beneficial for marketers promoting services, products, books and many types of businesses. Although they both are excellent directories, Which one should you use?

The reason I use these directories is that they are very high quality article directories that are highly ranked on Google. This just means that if you write good content, your article will probably rank well on Google in a relatively short period of time. The reason why Google ranks them so high is that both Ezine and Buzzle require authors to submit high quality unique content. While an author can spin and submit a single article to thousands of directories, an author will have to post it first as unique content on either of these sites before submitting it to any other article directory or web page.

Even if you post it on your personal blog first, the editors of these sites will find the content, and flag your article. Buzzle will not even give you a chance to edit your article and will just delete it, so make sure it is saved somewhere else before submitting it. Just to add to this, never write your articles within the directory website. If too much times lags on your web browser, the hours that you spent writing a great article in Ezine or Buzzle will be in vain. Write your articles in your favorite word processing programs and save them often.

I prefer Ezine over Buzzle for many reasons. Although I have noticed I get many more views on Buzzle, it's not as author-friendly as Ezine. I like that I can track views, clicks, articles published by publishers, percentages, and other useful statistics. Ezine also helps guide me through the process and checks my article for any red flags, like having too many keywords. Ezine also allows the author edit the content while it is in review. Once an author has submitted an article to Buzzle, no changes can be made while in the review process. Even after it is accepted, the author has to email the editors to make any changes.

As effective as Buzzle appears with great view statistics, it just doesn't have the tools I need to write and track the success my article marketing campaigns. I like being able to view click-throughs on Ezine to gauge the effectiveness of my article. Although I may receive 300 views on Buzzle as opposed to 100 views on Ezine for an article I write on a related topic, Buzzle doesn't give me the proof of click-throughs and also does not have enough editing capabilities to keep me writing consistently.

Are you an Ezine user or Buzzle user? While an author needs to submit unique content to both of these sites, it probably isn't a good idea to use both. You'll be spreading yourself too thin. My suggestion is to stick with one or the other. You can build a strong profile as you continue to submit articles. Also, don't think you can't submit the articles anywhere else. After you submit your unique content to either Ezine or Buzzle, then post your content to your blog, website, and other article directories that do not require unique content. Ezine is my choice. Which one do you like?
